What an exciting last couple of weeks it’s been for the TCF team as we prepared for the new library groundbreaking ceremony at The Commons on Saturday, October 26. We celebrated this milestone with our key donors, who, thanks to their enormous generosity, made the vision of a new library possible.

The Commons Foundation Heads Public-Private Fundraising Effort, Resulting In $16 Million For Larkspur Library Project Construction Of Larkspur Library Set To Start This Winter New State-Of-The-Art Larkspur Library Scheduled To Open In Early 2026

We’re excited to share that the story poles for the new Larkspur Library are going up on The Commons parcel. The design development plans of Alten Construction with Noll & Tam Architects (ACI team) can now be commented on and viewed on the city website.

I hope you’re enjoying a great summer with lots of good reading. The best book my book club read this summer was The Covenant of Water by Dr. Abraham Verghese. It’s uncommon for all 15 of us to love and enjoy the same book, but we all loved this one!
