“Libraries store energy that fuels the imagination. They open up windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve, and contribute to improving our quality of life.” — Sidney Sheldon

Dear Friends,

As spring approaches, I’m happy to report that construction of the new Larkspur Library is well underway.

Construction site with exposed trenches showing white PVC pipes laid for plumbing. Soil mounds are visible, along with tools and PVC glue scattered around. Metal rebar frames are set in the ground, indicating foundation work.

Crews have recently poured the concrete footings, excavated plumbing and electrical conduits, and prepared the site for the building’s floor slab. Each step brings us closer to creating a vibrant space for our community to learn, gather, and grow.

As of now, we’re on schedule for an April 2026 opening.

Invitation to All Donors

On Wednesday, April 2 at 6:30 pm, TCF will be delivering the first tranche of our $5 million funding to the City of Larkspur for the new library/community center on Rose Lane. This will take place during the Larkspur City Council meeting at 400 Magnolia Ave.

We’ve been raising money since 2018 and would be delighted to have our donors join us for this milestone. We would not be able to donate this amount if it wasn’t for incredible, generous and community oriented individuals like yourselves.

Sincerely,

PS: We’re still raising money for new library’s landscaping. If you’re interested in helping us reach our $1M goal, please see the details below. As always, thank you!
