Happy Summer! With June busting out all over, we’re enjoying the blooms and the outdoor havens that our amazing county of Marin has to offer.

Spring is finally here. Wow, we’ve had some spectacular days in Marin. And it’s a great time for The Commons Foundation (TCF) to collaborate with Larkspur City staff and councilmembers on a new 21st Century Library!

Just imagine, someday soon, having a new library on The Commons. What joy it will bring to everyone who gathers at this new, beautiful community space. Now imagine bringing a picnic basket on a warm spring evening and laying out a blanket for your family in an oasis of green, while surrounded by friends and neighbors. It’s going to happen and we are going to make it great — how exciting!

What a crazy year for weather. January was exceptionally rainy, and February was especially cold. Late in the month, there was snow on Mount Tam that lasted for a couple of days. Let’s hope the end of March turns out to be a bit warmer and that we can enjoy spending more time outdoors.
