State Updates Grant Application Deadlines

We have received new information from the State website regarding the deadlines for the City to file for a state matching grant application.  The grant application deadlines have shifted out a month. Please see below.

“Timeline

There will be two round of grant funding, with a minimum of 25% of total grant funds withheld for the second round.

First Round Application Period

• Early February 2022: Application period opens
• Mid-March 2022: Application period closes
• Spring 2022 (tentative): Awards announced

Applications not funded during the first round will be automatically considered during the second round. Dates for the second round will be published once they are available. Program Period

• Funds must be expended by grantees before March 31, 2026.

How to Apply

Applications will be accepted online starting in early February 2022. The exact date and application link will be posted on this webpage as soon as they are available.”

What is the impact?

TCF will continue to raise as many donations and pledges as possible before the filing date in mid-March.
